Today Could Be The Day

I’m standing with the saints who say

Jesus could come back today

He'll put an end to sin and strife

And bring His everlasting life

Evil meets its match that day

When Jesus comes, this time to stay

The promised King from ages past

Brings the peace that ever lasts

Lord Jesus paid the price

He died for you and me

He rose up from the grave

For all the souls to save

He sent His Spirit to abide

Forever dwelling deep inside

Evil meets its match that day

When Jesus comes, this time to stay

The promised King from ages past

Bringing peace forever lasts

The clouds will burst apart

The trumpet loud will sound

He’s coming as the King

His head with many crowns

He sent His Spirit to abide

Forever dwelling deep inside

Evil meets its match that day

When Jesus comes, this time to stay

The promised King from ages past

Bringing peace forever lasts

Judgment comes against His foes

The final end that saints all know

His mercy called me from my sin

And by His grace He took me in

He'll reign forever and a day

The Kingdom's come, this time to stay

We'll sing our songs to honor Him

Eternal peace and no more sin

Evil meets its match that day

When Jesus comes, this time to stay

The promised King from ages past

Bringing peace forever lasts

He’s coming soon

And He will reign

No death, no sorrow

No sin or pain

I'm standing with the Saints who pray

Lord Jesus, come—please come today

Ohhhhhh Jesus…

Please make today the day
