Never Thirsting

There’s a well to drink from

It comes from up above

It’s divine in its nature

It’s filled with life and love

We can never earn it

It’s given to us free

The only thing required

Is drinking from our knees

I drank the Living Water

It changed me from within

My life was given meaning

It broke the chains of sin

I’m no longer thirsting

For what this world can give

Jesus is the fountain

And in Him I truly live

The old desires whisper

Temptations old and new

But we can overcome them

His Spirit gets us through

Trials of life keep coming

But He’s never too far

We’re carried through the fire

His grace soothes ev’ry scar

I drank the Living Water

It changed me from within

My life was given meaning

It broke the chains of sin

Now I’m never thirsting

For what this world can give

Jesus is the fountain

And in Him I truly live

Flowing through life’s desert

He washed away the dust

He taught my wand’ring heart

To drink, believe, and trust

He’s my everlasting Savior

He’s all I’ll ever need

His strength is found in weakness

From there it flows through me

He's my King and Master

Holding on to Heaven's keys
