I see people really strugglin’

Lots of pain in their eyes

I used to be just like ‘em

With a smile as my disguise

Days of endless wand’rin’

Jesus saw my sufferin’

And He took away my fears

Now He's my Lord and Savior

My eyes no longer dim

He's given me a new life

I owe it all to Him

He's the peace my heart was missin'

His Spirit soothed my soul

He's the Rock of my salvation

His blessings overflow

His light pushed out the darkness

His truth replaced the lies
